Service Policy
Arrival
Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time with clean, makeup-free eyes, brows, and lashes. Removing makeup takes time away from your treatment. If you arrive late, we may be unable to extend the time for your booked service. If your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost.
For the safety and comfort of all our clients, our salon is not suitable for children. We kindly request that you refrain from bringing children with you.
Sickness or Family Emergency
If you or someone in your household has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. To prioritize the well-being of our staff and clients, we ask that you do not attend your appointment while sick. If it is evident that you are unwell, your appointment may be shortened, cancelled, and rescheduled once you have recovered. A one-time allowance for last-minute cancellation or rescheduling due to sickness or a family emergency will be granted. Afterward, our regular cancellation and no-show policies will apply.
Rescheduling, Cancellation, and No-Show
Please note that making an appointment online does not guarantee its acceptance until confirmed by us. You will receive a booking confirmation from us.
As a courtesy, appointment reminders will be sent 72 and 24 hours in advance via text, email, or both. To reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled service, subject to availability. However, for COSMETIC TATTOOING if you cancel your appointment, a cancellation fee equal to 100% of your deposit will be charged. Should you choose to reschedule or fail to show up for your appointment at the scheduled time, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost will be applied. A credit card deposit will be required upon booking. If we are unable to accept your booking, your deposit will be refunded within approximately 5-10 days. These measures are in place to protect the time allocated exclusively for you and to manage our busy schedule. In return, we promise punctuality, undivided attention, and the best services Auckland has to offer! Please note that we reserve the right to refuse bookings and provide refunds.
Service Consultation for Cosmestic Tattooing
A separate consultation can be requested for $50. However, if you decide to proceed with the service after the consultation, the $50 fee will be waived and deducted from the total cost.
Other Artists' Work
Eyelash Extensions: If you currently have eyelash extensions from another lash artist, it may be necessary to remove and reapply them correctly. Due to the varying standards in lash extension training and regulations, improper training is common among lash artists. At Immaculate Beauty Lounge, we prioritize the health of your natural lashes and the safety of your eyes. Therefore, if you come for a touch-up from another artist's work, you acknowledge that your current extensions may need to be removed, and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate price. This will be thoroughly discussed and explained before performing any service.
Eyebrow/Lip Tattoo: We do not perform touch-ups over work done by other artists. If you wish to have your brows or lips fixed from work done elsewhere, please contact us and provide photos for consultation. It may be necessary to go over your existing tattoo or undergo removal before redoing the treatment, which will be considered a new service. Multiple sessions of laser removal may be required, with a one-week rest period between removal sessions.
After-Hour Appointments
In certain circumstances and seasons, last-minute or after-hour appointments may be available on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee of $30. Please contact us directly to schedule an after-hour appointment.
Refund Policy
Payment covers the artist's time, products, and other expenses required to provide the service. No refunds will be given for any reason related to services or products. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns. If the issue is due to application or product fault, we will endeavour to address your concerns with a complimentary 30-minute express touch-up. We cannot be held responsible for concerns raised more than 72 hours after your last appointment or if proper aftercare instructions were not followed.
